Support with the recognition procedure For international nursing professionals who have completed their training abroad, we support you in the recognition procedure in order to have your qualification recognized in Germany quickly. The following steps apply to the recognition of your foreign professional qualification as a nursing specialist in Bavaria via the State Office for Nursing (LFP).

Submit an application

You can submit your application for recognition online or by post to the State Office for Nursing.

  • Online application
    • If you prefer to apply online, visit the official website of the State Office for Care at www.lfp.bayern.de.
  • Post application
    • If you wish to submit the application by post, you will probably also find all the necessary forms and information on the website of the State Office for Care.
