I have been a trainee nurse at the Bavarian Red Cross District Association in Bayreuth for about six months now. It is an exciting journey that I have embarked on to put my passion for caring for the elderly into action. The thought of taking up a profession that enables me to be there for those who need our support the most fills me with deep joy.
What particularly appeals to me is the immediate gratitude and warmth I receive from my patients. Your sincerity and kindness touch me deeply and show me every day anew that I am on the right path. It is a fulfilling feeling to know that I am making a significant contribution through my work as a carer and at the same time receiving so much in return.
My workplace at BRK-Ruhesitz in Bayreuth is not just a place to work, but also a place to learn and grow. Here I work side by side with friendly and committed colleagues who support and inspire me. The proximity of my vocational college, also part of the Bavarian Red Cross, enables me to seamlessly combine theory and practice. This integrative approach to nursing training is something that is very close to my heart.

As the old Chinese proverb says: “Learning never stops.” I am always eager to develop myself and take on new challenges. After completing my training, I therefore plan to continue my education and acquire additional qualifications. The Bavarian Red Cross Bayreuth District Association will support me in this and encourages me to realize my plans.
But it’s not just my work and education that enrich my life here in Germany, I also love the picturesque landscape of Upper Franconia and the rich cultural heritage of Bayreuth and its surroundings. The magnificent Bayreuth Opera House is just one of the many jewels this region has to offer, and I look forward to discovering more of its beauty.
